No. Rotten wood needs to be repaired or replaced before painting so the new coating has a solid, stable surface to protect. Paint will not strengthen rotten wood, and moisture can stay trapped under the coating.
Yes. Most exterior painting projects in Tyler should include proper washing before painting so dirt, mildew, pollen, chalky residue and loose debris do not interfere with paint adhesion.
Look beyond the final price. Compare prep work, materials, scope, repairs, number of coats, warranty, communication, cleanup and what is excluded. Our price is the price you pay, and any scope change is a written change order you approve first.
